At Solomon Kids Dentistry, we always welcome new patients! We have 4 General Dentist locations and 2 Pediatric Dentist locations to serve you and your family. All of our offices offer nights and weekend hours with a varying schedule. Our Sangaree office, however, is OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK! Feel free to schedule an appointment at your convenience!

Do you accept walk-ins?

What is the usual wait time for walk-ins?

Wait times can vary depending upon scheduled patients at that time. However, we greatly value your time and will work to get you seen as quickly as possible.

Does your practice see children?

At Solomon Kids Dentistry, we are a general dentist office accepting children of all ages. However, we do have two Solomon Kids Pediatric Dentistry locations if you wish for your child to see a specialized dentist. The offices are located at 108 Parish Farms Drive, Summerville and 491 W. Butternut Road, Summerville.

Do you accept Medicaid patients?

Yes, we accept Medicaid for those under the age of 21, as well as, Adult Medicaid.

What insurance policies do you accept?

We participate in over 300 major dental insurance companies and several discount plans. See our insurance tab for a list. If you don’t see your carrier please call our office to ask whether or not we are able to work with your insurance.

What are your hours?

Do you put your patients to sleep for treatment?

We do not use IV sedation on patients; however, we do use Nitrous Oxide Gas, or “laughing gas.” Laughing gas is completely safe local sedation method which relaxes you before your dental procedure. Learn more about Sedation Dentistry here.

Do you have payment plans available or make payment arrangements?

Payment is due when services are rendered; however, for our self-pay patients, we offer our SOLOMON SAVERS DISCOUNT PLAN. For more information please visit: SolomonSavers.LaunchSavings.com

Do you have a bilingual translator in your practice?

Yes, We have bilingual translators and software to help. We make everyone comfortable regardless of language. 

Do you make dentures in your office?

Yes, we do offer removeable prosthetic treatment options to our patients. This treatment includes Immediate, Partial and Complete dentures. The specific type of treatment needed can be discussed with your dentist during your appointment.

Do I have to have silver fillings or do you offer tooth-colored fillings?

Yes! For teeth that only require a filling we use tooth colored composite. For those which need crowns, however, we do have stainless steel (silver crowns) AND cosmetic white crowns (zirconia) from NuSmile. Typically silver crowns are done when a crown is needed, but if you are interested in a white crown be sure to ask the doctor if a Zirconia NuSmile crown is right for your child!

Do you offer tooth extractions in your office?

Yes. We offer extractions 7 days a week. There are certain procedures, however, in which we may refer out to a specialist if we do not feel it could be completed properly.

What oral surgeon, endodontist, and orthodontist do you refer to?

While there are many other offices to choose from, the following office ALL accept the Solomon Savers Discount Plan:

If I do not have insurance, what do I need to pay on my first visit?

If you have no insurance or are on a discount plan, payment is expected in full at the time of your appointment.However, if you are a member of our Plan For Health program program, payment is due at the beginning of the year. If you do have insurance, you will need to pay your deductible and your percentage of treatment rendered.
 
 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, Care Credit, and all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

What kind of dentistry does your practice offer?

At Solomon Kids Dentistry we practice both comprehensive general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. These services include: crowns, bridges, implants, partial dentures, complete dentures, root canals, and fillings.
