How Are The Fillings Placed Inside Of My Child's Teeth?

A special blue light is applied within seconds of forming the tooth shape, making it harder. Finally, if the child feels that the tooth isn’t shaped properly or has difficulty biting, further adjustments can be made.
How Should I Get My Child Prepared For A Dental Filling?
Before the procedure begins, children are usually numbed. Therefore, they will feel less pain when receiving and preparing for a filling. They may still feel a tickle inside their mouths and on their teeth and gums when water is sprayed on them, like a shower for their teeth!
Overall, it is a quick and painless process. Sensitivity usually tapers off after about two weeks, but it gradually decreases as time passes. We recommend that you talk to your child before the procedure starts so they are aware of what is going on.
